Originally planned as a benefit for an alternative school, The Oregon Country Fair, nee Renaissance Fair's 1969 birth played out at a special time and in a unique community. Those early influences are still being felt as the annual festival continues 56 years later. The fair has faced legal threats, land use regulations, growing pains, pandemics, and success all with a sense of "Psycho-spiritual Rejuvenation". Longtime OCF participant, Dana Merryday, will tell the whimsical tale of this unique event's history. As usual there will be Trivia, 50/50 raffle, Fun, fellowship, and an informative talk all with the ambiance of the Axe and Fiddle.
