Description
For the July History Pub Katherine Wilson will return to the scene she helped stage, downtown Cottage Grove where the chaotic Parade that closed the hit movie "Animal House" was filmed. Released in 1978, the movie was filmed in the Fall of 1977 in locations scouted by Wilson, who was a film student and early proponent of the "Made in Oregon" film movement. She was instrumental in working out many of the logistics and locations used in the film including the Main Street shooting of the parade scene, pillow fight, and kid fantasy shots. As with every History Pub there will be trivia, 50/50 Raffle, informative talk, Fun, fellowship, and the ambiance of the Axe and Fiddle.
