Goose Mural Dedication

Please join the Mural Committee, Faye Stewart and Heather Endicott, the artist, for the Dedication of the Goose Mural at 10th & Main Street, north end of Bohemia Park. Come and hear why Engine No. 19 has a special place in the hearts of so many who experienced The Goose Excursion, from 1971 - 1988. The committee started this process in January of 2023. Thanks to ALL in our community who donated during Art Walks and other venues, we raised the funds to bring back the Goose in the form of a Mural. Four donors really made a huge difference in meeting our goal, the Woodard Family Foundation, Ernie Olson, South Lane TV and Carolin Pettit! Special thanks to Alice Christianson for her wonderful design work for our T-Shirts and Martin Hansen who donated his time and historical knowledge at two talks about Engine No. 19s time at OP&E and Cottage Grove Historical Society for being the passthrough for this mural project.
