Buster Keaton - 100th Anniversary of :The General". It was 100 years ago this summer when 17 train cars rolled into Cottage Grove bearing the materials to recreate Marietta Georgia and a piece of Civil War history, the Anderson Raid. Buster Keaton had full artistic control of what turned out the be the most expensive silent film ever made. Members of the Buster Keaton Committee of the Cottage Grove Historical Society will be filling you in on some of the aspects of when Buster took over the town and the planned 100th year celebration bringing Damfinos from around the country to mark this milestone! As with every History Pub there will be trivia, 50/50 Raffle, informative talk, Fun, fellowship, and the ambiance of the Axe and Fiddle
