Description
The Cottage Grove Museum is excited to offer our 12th annual holiday event, "Stained Glass and Candlelight!" Both the Museum and the Annex will be open for your perusal starting at 5:30pm. The Stained Glass Illumination program will start promptly at 6:15pm. See such local treasures as Marion Wright Woolcott's "Lucky Coat" which she wore while being resuced from the Titanic on her way to Cottage Grove to start a new life. Join us as we celebrate our beautiful historic stained-glass windows, by dimming the lights inside the museum, then lighting the windows from the outside while our museum tour guide offers a window by window presentation focusing on the beauty and symbolism of each unique design. . Light refreshments will be offered. Admission is free and donations are gladly accepted. Looking forward to having you and your family join us!
