Please join us for a joyous celebration of one of Cottage Grove's most successful athletes, Dyrol Burleson. He broke the High School Mile record in 1958 by 3 seconds. First full ride track scholarship to UO under Bill Bowerman, "Burley" never lost a race for Bowerman and the Ducks, He went to the Olympics twice! Coach Bud Taylor's dream was to gift Cottage Grove the Dyrol Burleson story as an inspiration for local youth and this is the result! Join us to celebrate.
