Bring your camera out to the Cottage Grove airport for Cottage Grove Wings & Wheels!
The largest annual event hosted by the Oregon Aviation Historical Society, the Seventh Annual Wings & Wheels Fly-In has been postponed to coincide with the Great Oregon Homebuilt event on August 29th.
We realize the community is anxious for some summer fun activities and we all miss seeing friends and neighbors out and about in Cottage Grove, but protecting the health of attendees and participants is critical. This fun annual event was planned to offer the general public the opportunity to see many restored antique aircraft, hear the stories of famed aviation pioneers and learn about the amazing contributions made to the field by Oregon's aviation trailblazers. This particular event offers a chance to celebrate all forms of transportation through the years.
Here at the museum we are continuing to make adjustments, following the recommended measures of the Oregon Health Authority and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, to ensure our guests can enjoy our various stories in safety. The doors of the museum are now open Tuesday - Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Guests are encouraged to wear masks and maintain safe space between parties.
So, we hope to see everyone at the postponed Wings & Wheels -- just at a later date this year.
Saturday, June 29th.
