We've been trained on being careful with our Cybersecurity. We're told that information is stolen and passed around in the Dark Web. We're told not to click on attachments and know the sender. But has anyone shown you WHY? Have you actually had the chance to see behind the Dark Web veil? We will do that and talk about more in this presentation. Nathan Knottingham is an executive and business builder with nearly two decades of experience in business leadership and development. He currently serves as the Vice-President of Training and Development at The Knowledge Coop, a Washington-based company which offers mortgage compliance continuing education to professionals. Nathan credits his skills in public speaking and leadership, along with his passion for progress, as the driving forces behind his career. His primary goal, in both business and in life, is to leave each place he visits better than he found it, and to help each person he meets to find the best within themselves.
Community involvement is one of Nathan’s greatest passions. Before joining the Knowledge Coop in 2016, Nathan was the President and CEO of the McMinnville, Oregon Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as Chair of the Center for Community Innovation and on boards for Howard Street Charter School in Salem, OR; and the See Ya Later Foundation, a non-profit organization which provides scholarships and other aid to kids and families affected by medical crises. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Washougal Schools Foundation, which seeks to promote public education and secure grant funding for a district of seven schools in Southwestern Washington.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys reading, playing the bass, woodworking, and staying involved in his local community. He holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Corban University. Nathan lives in Washington with his wife and two children.
