About Our speakers:
SVP and Division Manager – Lane and Coos Counties
Mike started his banking career in the mail room of a small bank in Idaho in 1979. Over the next 40 years, he worked in a variety of senior Sales, Service, Lending, Operations, and Human Resource roles for a both Regional and National financial service companies, including Siuslaw Bank, where he served as the SVP & COO from 5 years. With the acquisition of Siuslaw in 2015 by Banner Bank, Mike assumed his current responsibilities overseeing the sales, service, and operational activities of 15 branch locations in Lane and Coos Counties. He earned his Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration from Lewis-Clark State College in Idaho, and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle, Washington. Mike actively serves on wide variety of community and non-profit boards and councils, including being a past co-chair of the Lane County United Way Campaign, an advisory council member for the Kids in Transition to School program, a member of the Oregon Bankers Governmental Affairs committee, and a board member for the one of the fastest growing Arts & Performance programs in the area, Ballet Fantastique.
Tyler Lawrence has 14 years of experience in the banking industry including three years as a branch manager and four years of commercial banking experience. Tyler was born and raised in Coos Bay, OR, has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Oregon and currently chairs the board of United Way Emerging Leaders of Lane County.
