DESCRIPTION:On September 25th\, the Coast Fork Willamette Watershed Council (CFWWC) will be screening "The Lost Fish" a documentary on Pacific Lamprey. "One of the Pacific Northwest's oldest fish is dissapearing\, and along with it the sacred place it holds among many American Indian Tribes. For a species that has squeezed through most of the earth's great extinctions\, the plight of Pacific Lamprey may be a signal of ecological distress (www.thelostfish.org)."\n\nCheck out the trailer for "The Lost Fish" and come watch it with us at Science Pub on Tuesday\, September 25th at 5pm at the Axe and Fiddle!\n\nThe CFWWC hosts a family-friendly monthly public meeting series called the Coast Fork Science Pub on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 5-7pm at the Axe & Fiddle\, 657 E. Main Street in Cottage Grove. The event begins with informal socializing\, trivia\, and updates about the watershed and watershed council during the first hour. The Science Pub presentation begins at 6pm. CFWWC receives 10% of all sales from the evening between 5-7:30pm. The event is free to the public\, with a $5 donation suggested.
