SUMMARY:Promotions/Events/Tourism Committee
DESCRIPTION:Promotions/Tourism Committee - Promotions and Tourism committees merged in January of 2019.  \n\nThis committee shall be responsible for the promotion of the Chamber through community events\, fundraisers\, and such other activities that support the Chamber's mission and role within the community.  They will also develop and market the "Cottage Grove Brand" and support visitor readiness.  The committee will prepare a slate of events and fundraisers as necessary to fulfill this goal and submit it for the Board's approval as well as assist the director in marketing and advertising of tourism related events.  \n\nUpon approval\, the committee with the assistance of staff shall implement the approved events\, tourism activity\, and fundraisers.
