Steve has done lots of research on her and our local history. See the Opal memorial website here to learn more about this famous pioneer girl.  Take your own car and stop at points of interest\, get out\, and hear him talk about the land\, the town's history\, Opal's life and more.\n\nMeet at the Snapp House at 360 S. River Rd\, Cottage Grove\, OR 97424. Park in the main lot and pay your fee\, and receive your map\, then follow Steve!\n\nCost: $10 per adult\, children 15 and under are free.\n\nPlease bring cash or a check made out to Singing Creek Educational Center. The funds from this event helps support our living history programming for families and we thank you for any additional amount you can contribute.
