SUMMARY:Fall Birding for Beginners
DESCRIPTION:Join the Coast Fork Birders at Row River Nature Park on Saturday\, October 14th at 9am for an introductory bird walk. Alison Center will lead the group in looking for fall migrants\, such as ducks and songbirds. This bird walk is open to participants of all birding abilities\, but will be focused on introducing birding to beginner bird watchers. The terrain is flat at Row River Nature Park and the walk will be on both paved and unpaved surfaces. Be sure to bring weather appropriate clothing and footwear\, binoculars and bird identification book if you have them (we have some spares in case you don't)\, and your own snacks and water. Park by the former BMX track at the east end of the large parking lot on Row River Rd. (east of the weigh station). RSVP to the Coast Fork Office (541) 767-9717 or email maggie@coastfork.org.
