DESCRIPTION:The Elks Hoop Shoot is a free throw contest for boys and girls\, ages 8-13 (age as of April 1\, 2024). The age groups are 8-9\, 10-11\, and 12-13. Boys shoot against boys their age and girls against girls of their own age. Winners advance and can win a trip for themselves and their families to the national finals in Chicago\, IL where they have a chance to win a $50\,000 college scholarship and get their name in the National Basketball Hall of Fame.
