DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, July 18th\, at 2 p.m. Back in 2007\, we wanted to open Bohemia City on Thursday evening with greater fanfare and a bit of a historical flair. That year the Bloomers Parade became the newest BMD tradition tailored for ladies wearing bloomers who wanted to celebrate the invention of pants for women and to honor the women who fought mightily to have the right to vote. Bloomers may be purchased at the Crafty Mercantile\, 517 E. Main St. or make a pair yourself and sashay down Main Street on Sunday afternoon. A float will be available for those who want to participate and are unable to walk the route
